Arjay Centeno

Champion de West Coast Swing, Arjay Centeno a dansé presque toute sa vie. Sa formation initiale dans le domaine des arts consistait à jouer du violon classique de manière professionnelle pendant 20 ans. Il a parcouru le monde avec la symphonie avant de se lancer dans la danse en couple. Il est formé aux danses standards internationales, au hip hop, au jazz, aux arts modernes et au théâtre.

En 18 ans de carrière, il est l’un des hommes les plus rapides à gravir le circuit, il a remporté de nombreuses compétitions Jack and Jill et Strictly Swing au plus haut niveau de la division Champion. Et est plusieurs fois champion de Classic et Showcase, ainsi que champion Us Open en Teams et Strictly.

Il a également participé à de nombreuses danses en ligne avec la danseuse Champion Line Rachael McEnaney-White, dont l’une a remporté un Crystal Boot Award. Arjay a acquis une réputation pour son style d’enseignement unique, son jeu amusant, ses modèles innovants et sa musicalité. Il est connu pour ses ateliers créatifs, conduisant deux followers en même temps, son coaching et son grain de folie.

West Coast Swing Champion, Arjay Centeno has been dancing almost all his life. His original background in the arts was playing 20 years as a professional classical violinist. He traveled the world with the symphony before finding a career in partner dancing. He is trained in International Standard and International Rhythm, Hip Hop, Jazz, Modern and Theater Arts. He’s proficient in almost every partner dance. In his 18 year wcs career he’s one of the fastest males to climb the circuit, he’s won many Jack and Jill’s and Strictly Swing competitions at the highest of Champion divisions. And is a many time champion of Classic and Showcase as well as Us Open champion in Teams and Strictly.

He’s also has numerous Line dances with Champion Line dancer Rachael McEnaney-White one of which won a Crystal Boot Award.

Arjay has developed a reputation for his unique teaching style, his fun and playfulness on and off the floor, his innovative patterns and musicality. He’s known for creative workshops, leading two followers at the same time, his coaching and his silliness on and off the floor.

He currently teaches, coaches, judges, and performs with his partner Champion dancer Malia San Nicolas all over the world. They are debuting a new routine for 2019 that you will see across the circuit in preparation for the US Open.
